History
We began as a small Yeshiva, proudly serving the Miami Jewish community. The mission was simple; we were committed to providing our students with a comprehensive, Torah-based education. Since our humble beginning, we have grown into a school of close to 500 students from Playgroup to Grade Six. Finally, we moved to our present 50,000 sq. ft. location at 7902 Carlyle Avenue, and we are growing at such a rapid pace that we constantly are adding more classrooms and school facilities.
Despite our rapid growth, we resist the urge to become institutional. Rather, we have maintained our commitment to the families we serve, and to a more personalized approach to education.
Our Rebbeim, Moros and teachers make up a truly unbelievable team. Their diligence is exceeded only by their enthusiasm and reverence for the well-being of each child. As a result, our students are not merely taught lessons, but rather they are infused with a true love of learning. Our unmatched Limudei Kodesh staff helps mold every student into a true Ben Torah or Bas Yisroel. The Secular education staff is second to none, preparing our students with a solid education in all areas of our thorough curriculum. Through ongoing training and self-reassessment, we strive for even greater levels of educational excellence.
The Menahel, Rabbi Yisroel Moshe Janowski, aside from being a well respected rabbi in the community, is the quintessential principal, exuding a tremendous love for every child; a love that lives on in the hearts of Y.E.S. students for years to come. Together with the rest of the administration, a mood of warmth permeates every corner of Y.E.S.
